Hey InitialD and FastHarry................I am glad to see you guys here, after 2 years (after my PRO) of Serpentless.......I know I am ready to go back to the Serpent PIT once again (just sold my NTC3 and made good enough money to cover the 710 itself), and I am so glad that I didn't get myself a 705 (really, I don't see a big different from PRO to 705)........but now, 710 here I come.
About the bootleg Serpent stuff..........HK/CHINA is the king of bootleg.....if you want to get real Serpent items in Mongkok (HK) there are only 2 places, HSC (Mr. Lam) and Wing Jet (Snake King Cheung)......then, you can always go to the HK Serpent Distrubutor - Universal Hobby in Wan Chai............Only these 3 places will sell genuine Serpent items.
Or better yet, order direct from Serpent Europe or Serpent USA.
I received the first batch notice of the 710 is 12-15-2003...........dealer price is the same as 705 (I cannot believe that...that is just too good) but retail price should be $20-30 more then 705

When can we expect to get a list of partnumbers for all components and optional parts on the 710? I bet many with me are eager to get a spare parts order set up with the dealers.
Also, if Serpent are shipping December 15, do you use sea or air? If sea, it would be a little late for people that want to build their cars and go to the winternats.... Send them with Expedited air, not too expensive compared to sea shipment, normally about a6-8 day transfer...

I will try hard and of course I would like to enter the W.C. It depends on my job and if there is a clash with an important race event I am involved because of buzsiness.
But don´t forget: The next W.C. is once again not held just right behind the corner ... but once again far away.

DOH!
All this time I have been checking the forum on the 710 products page on mytsn, only to find out the party was elsewhere! This surfaces some sore memories from the past, where I was not invited to my own B-day parties!
Good to see the new color is orange, but I must say ---- EDIT - NIET OVER VOETBAL LULLEN! ---- and there are many who feel the same way!
I thought I wasn't the most ignorant kid on the block, but in the last few hours, reading through this thread, I have discovered that I have a lot to learn. I have encountered tech slang I have yet to comprehend such as "too much wine". (Is that engine technology? I'm guessing it's engine technology... Tell me it's engine technology!) I may just be a bit slow, I may have had too much beer.
Anyway, I should be getting a 710 early December and it can't be soon enough. I really like building these cars and due to my drivers skills, I get to (re)build a lot, so I guess I'm pretty fortunate.
Thanks to all the people at Serpent for giving me something to look forward to!
