Just got a cheap servo for the throttle. I'm putting it back slowly and planning to run the 705 this weekend just to kick those with a 710 ! Oh yes, it is slightly modded with Centax 3 and the gearbox from the 710 fitted on.

I'll run the 705 with a salon shell.
Are you aiming to get a second 710 and then retire the 705?

If I'm not wrong, the JR receiver is pretty big. Someone posted this problem on the 710 mytsn forum. Here it is.

Nah... There's no convertion set for the 705 to 710 !

Too many cars. I think one of each is nice.

In putting your 710 together, don't worry if the suspension arms seem to bind a little - they do at first, but as you get further through the build process, the binding will vanish!!

rodrigo1508, I'm sure the R40 is as good as they say. If you cannot get answers here, you can always get answers from mytsn 710 forum. Team drivers drop by from time to time to check how we're progressing and steal a tip or two from us while they are at it !

All is good. Hope you enjoy your stay with us here and happy building the kit !

You'll find the guys here as helpful as they get - Welcome!

Here's a link to the 710 FAQ which has been put together from postings to this group.

It's a good idea to read through it (even print it out for building tips), as it contains a lot of useful info.

Cheers, Mark.

Yup, you need Jedi mind tricks to do that. Just think very hard about making the binding dissappear and it will. That's how I clean my car. I don't use your expired Photoshop filter anymore !

p/s: I hope those who read this don't take me too seriously !

Here is how it looks like. This was on my 705. I believe it's the same way they have lightened the aluminum pulley adaptor on the 710.

Are those white tie raps to protect the engine cover?

Cableties... I am glad to see it in use as when a car flips over for whatever reason, traction roll, movie stunt, whatever, the engine head is the first thing to get scratched... which is painfull if you spent a few hours rebuilding your new engine as you should... These just help releive the pain a little and protect the engine head\cooling fins.

Mine scratched because I cut the hole on top WAY too big If its the size of the glow starter I dont think in any way it will scratch unless your body tears open or cracks big time.

Cyba, you are right, I know that there is a body and a handle\roll bar but anything can happen... you know... I was told once that the internet is addictive, I have been on the net for years, but one thing I am addicted to is this forum. Thank you guys. It is the 11th today here, and payday is the 26th... then I can place my order on the 29th... I CANT WAIT, nearly time for delivery...
