Even if it is just for the experience, it would be very good

All I need to participate in the Nationals is:

1. A pipe with EFRA number (My loved RD Logics Turbo do it )

2. A so called "D-License", shouldn't be too hard to get

3. A heck lot of parts, training and help

New_Toasted, enlist Fredrik for help. You need at least a partner that you can rely on to be able to race in an event.

Thanks guys, what does the "New type looking wheelnuts" look like? I know I bought a bunch of the wheel nuts that originally came with the 710 because they were going to stop making them and I found that they really helped keep the wheels from warping so I bought a bunch and still have them. Whats the deal with these new ones? Also did Serpent address the issue with the way the front shock was mounted soo on hard impacts it wouldn't break the shafts on the shocks?? Nice looking aluminum parts on that car. Almost makes me want to go back out and buy a 710!! Is RC-Mushroom still the cheapest place to get the 710?

The new ones are like normal M4 nuts but with no rubber ring inside. The flange facing is smaller but they have grooves on it to grip the wheels better.

I have found that with the new wheel nuts, less chances of tires coming out loose in a race.

With the older wheel nuts, make sure to use blue threadlock. Make sure it dries before doing actual racing. If not, it's the same problem you're going to get.

I thought I answered this one the last time... How do you thread your ball joints to the shock shaft when building? Some use a wire cutter to hold where the threading on the shock shaft ends. That's bad. It creates a notch and will be a weak point on impact. Use a paper rolled up and grip the shock shaft using long nose pliers in order not to scar the shock shaft.

I think in general, you would be happy with the new Mega. Good price, excellent performance. The stock engine is even on par with the JP and Max engines. Get the Powerpack as it comes with a tuned inline pipe made for the engine.
