D, tight your clutch a bit more and dont change the stock 1st gear ratio. You will not notice much difference in acceleration conparing with 705 1st gear ratio(7.12)
Thanks for the tip ! I'll do that.

My 705 is not "stock" so with a 7.12 gear ratio, it launches very hard !

InitialD, why don't you just take a picture of yourself and post it so we can see the "man" behind the D

If you read more closely... I gave an answer about this. If you do what D has done you cant reach the front screws of the diff clamp. If we made it further back the strength of the mounting of the shock tower would have been less.

there is no problem with the shocks at this slight angle. It was designed like this and will stay like this

Sorry, but no need to get angry
Don't try to post as much as D and maybe i can keepup with reading the post's.

Still i have placed a small spacer between the ballcup and the wishbone (and still have alot of spacer with the wheel) so the shocks moves a little better

Too risky ! I've made too many enemies here already just driving a Serpent and you want me to post a pic of myself? That would be the last nail on the coffin !

Like I mentioned, it is a matter of preference. For people like me, I like to keep things straight but that's just me. I doubt it would make a lot of difference slanted or straight though.

I am sorry. I'd did not mean to sound angry. I wanted to make a statement that was clear. It is sometimes the problem with forums that someone detects a "problem" and it starts to lead a life of its own.

If you want to change things to the car that is fine. But don't create problems when there isn't one

ok lets move on to take the winning spot with this car, cause stil i think the 710 is a WINNER.

Ps how to place the a personel transponder!:
I cut a square in the fronbumper and placed it under the upper bumperholder, Nice place and well protected.
Only need to find a good way to get the wire to my reciever
