So team Serpent also ran the car with the 3mm shorter wheel base?

I know the bar deal has some people confused but the more rear roll on the 710 the more the front plants itself harder giving more steering and less push=less rear traction. It took a while for me to get it too
This is very interesting. I'll try it out some time.

I ran stock spurs and the first gear spur is a high maintenance Item I have found
I found it almost impossible to run the car with 16-61 on the first gear. D mentions that 16 will work with 60. I found the 1st gear pinions are high maintenance.

what I cut off the rear of each arm I trimmed and put back in front of the arm. then I drummed up some spacers I cut from an old arm to space the swaybar at the arm location.
Right ... thanks for the info Dennis.

In the first heat I ran it I ran one more lap than I did running my NTC3. This car is so much smoother. I have got a little push toget taken care of, but other than that I love this car.
One question for everyone though. What bodies do you find to work the best with this car. Currently I am runng a Alfa Romeo.
Thanks,
I used the Alpha 156 Protoform version 2.1 for the first time today. Compared to the old version stratus and the new Stratus 2.1, the Alpha has more of steering (same car setup) and slightly less rear downforce.

I can only compare it to the Stratus. This is the only other serious racing shell I've used.

Of course, my favourite remains the Lola VDS ... a lot of fun, a lot of buzz and a lot of adrenalin when you go through some terrific sweepers at full throttle!

And if you kick my butt, it goes in the trash can at the circuit
Just ordered a mazda 6, too. I've heard that the Mazda's have good turn in off power, but understeer on power.

And I've bought all the serpent tyres that the border had, so I wouldn't even bother asking Michel or Herber *cough*

No, in the unlikely event I kick your butt, I get the shell ... I'm a sucker for collecting RC garbage.

Whaaat? understeer on-power? I've just asked a friend coming over to bring 3 of them for me.

No, what I do is rub the soapy water in the area where the sticker is about to go. Then stick the sticker and adjust to perfection.
