So this is the second weekend out with the car and I have an issue with corner speed. It seems like on off power going into the turn it likes have understeer along with corner exit. I was wondering what most people would do for that.

Also I have had an issue with the rear shocks and the bottom shock cap staying on so I will be running and then it finds its way loose so the rear end has oil all over everything. I even use red loctite on it and it still came off. Any one else have this issue or know of a good fix for it?

The shock cap, is it aluminum or plastic? I suppose u know loctite will not do anything w plastic so i guess it's aluminum? Then something's gotta be terribly wrong. New shock body and cap should follow.
Exit understeering can be fixed w higher front and/or rear diff oil depending on how your car behaves on the rear of the track.
Other than diff oil, different springs, higher front droop, lower shore front tires, thinner front sway bar or messing w roll center can be tried.

They do make the car more aggressive and have a more direct feel in the middle of the corner. They are suitable for high grip tracks where the rear is already planted and the car could use some more turn-in. The kit linear springs are easy to drive. These will increase overall grip and steering.

I read this about the silver progressive springs for 2012 nt1.
Does this describe them?
I've used the rears but never the fronts, I like the rears and switch between them and pinks. If traction gets really high next week in Kissimmee I'm gonna try them all around

I am going to rebuild my car tomorrow and will make sure to measure it for you. I believe that is correct though, but will verify.

Just check the rest of shock pistons that comes with the kit!

Anyone have a nt1 2013 Ed setup sheet for Kissimmee? Especially would like to know the gearing. Full sheet would be great though. Thanks.

The pistons are 11mm and the outside of the shock body is 13mm. So by that I am assuming the inside of the shock is 12mm. Hope that helps!

If pistons are 11mm the inside diameter is 11mm too.
Thank you very much!

Hello guys
please, someone can say me the dimensions of xray shocks springs (code #338, for example light purple, or violet)?
I need to know the lenght of rear and front springs and the internal diameter.
Thanks in advance !

My NT1 has very inconsistent gear shifting. Sometimes it doesn't even shift or it shift way too early no matter how tight the 2nd gear shoe is. I checked the one way bearing, clutch and got a new shoe for the 2 speed and still same problem exists. I just re built the car and in the process of re building the engine(O.S. XZ). I just couldn't finish it today because the crankshaft bearing is jacked a bit so I have to get a new one. What else should I check??

I know you already mentioned checking the clutch but when I have had similar issues it was the clutch nut sliding to less pre load because my engine was powerful and I did not thread lock the clutch nut.

If it shifts way too early make sure you have at least 0.20-0.30mm preload on the clutch spring collar relative to the clutch nut and that you use thread lock to keep it in place. When the pre-load is zero or less or close you will get early and inconsistent 2nd speed engagement no matter how you tighten the 2nd speed shoes.

Let he know if not clear. Worth a check and try.

Are you oiling the second gear bearing? If you are doing that, stop doing it lol. What is happening is as it spins it gets oil in there creating really inconsistent shifting or not shifting at all. Also clean out the inside of the 2nd speed gear with rubbing a little rubbing alcohol on the 2nd gear ring to remove any access dirt that is on it first of all. I do the same to 2nd gear shoes as well. Also make sure your screws in the shoes are tightened the same amount. If they aren't tightened the same amount you will definitely get inconsistent shifts.
