To be fair austin, you could drive an original Kyosho or an older Serpent and still walk all over 95% of the people who have a on-road nitro car :tire::nod::tire:

Are most people using the 2012 style cut top deck??
At the recent european event which dirk won hiscar had some brace on his top deck.
I heard also the grip was low.

Maybe the cut top deck is more suited to higher grip levels

The top deck on the pro kit looks like it has a piece of carbon fiber to replacet he cut part of the top deck. this was also seen on Dirks car at some recent race he won.

I read his report from this race and he said the grip was really low..could the 2012 style top deck be suited only for high grip? hence why he had the carbon brace back on his car.

see my pic attached..

I thought cutting the deck was for low grip situations and if Dirk wanted a full top deck why not use the 2011 version?

You have got to wonder why use a counter-sunk screw and washer when the stock is a button head screw. Many I know speculate, that when you see the counter sunk washer combination it means the the screw holes in the top deck are bigger than 3mm to allow for play/twist/flex.

racing my first ever national today with the NT1, i've used it at a few club days and i'm relatively familiar with the car now.

I'm by no means quick! but I fully intend on enjoying the day, i'll write a small report on how the car does later!

Low grip at the International Race in Cassino? No no no there was a lot of grip. The standard radioplate makes a smoother car easier to drive in high grip conditions. Not only Dirk but also Spataro (the fastest using the NT1 here in Italy) is racing almost always with the close radio plate.

I meant the european nitro challenge in hockenheim. low grip and no additives were allowed

Ran the NT1 yesteday, struggled with an on power over steer on corner exit.
Couldn't apply the throttle leaving the corner all day.

Any suggestions? this is the setup I ran:

I hope this will help.Try step by step when changing setting..

1.Used the lowest rear roll center.

2.Rear inner camber link location, tried location 2 instead of 1.If still need more grip then try location 4.I always use location 2.

3.Reduce clucth Clearance to 0.5 or 0.6mm

4.Use Ackemann CB or BC

5.SRS wing shift to middle.

Good luck

4.Used 60k or 50k diff oil.i've tried 30k,same issue like yours..the rear snap during on exit corner.U may also try to reduce from diff oil to 200k.
