Picco Torque in an NT1

Last time I ran Picco's were the JLR Red Dot Piccos in my NT1. This was afew years ago. The motor never seemed to fit quite right, and I had issues with stripped gears.

Do the new Torques fit w/o issues?

From what I've read, the torques miss just a little on the high end but rip on bottom and mid-range. In gearing them up slightly, what have been the best pinion and spur combo's that avoid gear issues?

Picco has also I believe introduced a new pipe the 2667? Anyone have experience with it? If not what is the best pipe?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I posted this in the Engine Section as well, but any advice would be appreciated.

I think the torque can't be compared with the 3 years old JLR!!
I had JLR on my Mugen but i didnt like! The Torque I think it's quite competitive
with nova-based engines!
( When I went with nova-bases motors, like my first JP P3L black edition, and now Rb I think I'll never go back)

Actually... anyone here running RB T11 RS??
I'm thinking of that engine, due to National Championship!

i have been running the t11 rs all season. i call my nt1 the cruise missle when im ripping down the straight away. tremendous power bottom to the top

same old question

Is there going to be a new version of the NT1? Or should I just plan on getting the 2011 version? :D

you don't need to balance lipos in nitro rc's. the amp drawn out of the packs isn't at a high rate, and in nitro we don't rely on the battery to power the car so it isn't the source of power to move the car.

electric guys balance packs because there is high amp draw, and the balance of the pack is integral in getting extra run time. All lipos in nitros will last an entire day, not a problem. Just charge it up again when you are finished. Leaving a lipo uncharged or partially charged can be worse than not balancing it.

Just ordered the CSO lightweight brakr disk, serpent brake springs for my car...
Which screw kit do you prefer for the car?? hexscrew or tony's screw??

Also I want to know guyz, who tried a different brand on centax? I mean Mugen or serpent??

staikosn1 12-11-2011 01:27 PM

Guyz, plz help...
Actually I want to make my own centax, just to be light enough for more direct
response!
Im thinking about Mugen flyweel-pressure plate-centrifugal shoe, xray hard spring-red clutch shoe!
Must to be lighter than original, and more and more response on my hands!
Tell me your opinions plz!!
