One thing that has been left out of Peck's setup is the 2.0mm sway bar. It doesn't come in the kit. You have to order it.

If you try this setup with the 2.3mm sway bar it will just spin out if you look at it funny. Casey said not to even try the setup without the rear sway bar.

Also, stock rear springs. 42.5wt oil in the front with a 54 piston. And the rear droop comes down to 127mm as well.

If your not using the whole package you may as well keep the "Truhe" setup on the truck.

This setup does make the truck drive smiliar to the buggy but it is more sensitive and easier to spin. Some people like the extra rotation and some don't. I do. Especially when I can just drive under the other Losi's around me.

Hope this helps you guys out.

Can someone tell me if they've come across some Losi 8ight T 2.0 set up sheets? It might be available in this thread but 300+ pages is a little hard to follow.

Cheers!

Yeah the droop that low will make the rear end come around on off power steering.

X2...pick a set-up....try it and tweak from there....if all goes to hell...go back and try another.....Losi's are Imo Very Set-up friendly.

what method do you guys use for measuring your droop?
thanks

aaron joy 10-22-2009 12:22 AM

You measure the distance between the center of the upper shock mount and the center of the lower shock screw with the vehicle's tires off the ground using calipers or a ruler in mm.

Here is a video of Adam Drake checking the droop on a 8ight 2.0
