I run them on both cars and unlike them. Makes the center diff much more stable. They do need screws that are 1/4 inch longer but that's small stuff.

You don't need longer screws to run the black brake pads. The brake plate spacing will need to be increased by .5mm for both the front and rear brakes prior to installation.

Lol just learned a new thing to check on the losi, be sure to check your bumpsteer ball often, mine the plastic piece popped off on one side and and ended up on the skinny cone part, it was driving all crazy for a few races, i coulnt find out what the heck was going on.

I would suggest tearing it down and rebuilding/ I do this after every big race and every 2 club races.

Well it wwas more of one of thoes all of a sudden things, just one day for the last qualifier and for the main it drove weird as hell, and i didnt notice when i looked at it because my truggy as allways felt so sloppy and loose, well when i took a closer look it had popped off. And im really too lazy to rebuild it that often lol, ive gone 5 or 6 club races and rebuilt and really the bearings felt almost new, though i changed them anyway, but i still do the normal rebuild (shocks/diffs) just dont go so deep into it so often.

Where do you use longer screws on the aluminum mount? You mean the 4 screws that mount it to the chassis? I have been running the stock length screws without issue. I just use a bit of loctight on them and have yet to have one loosen up. I may look into using a longer screw though. Can't hurt.

Will a 2.0 shock tower fit on 1.0 truggy

aaron joy 03-26-2010 07:18 PM

Yes it will bolt on but the body mounts may be located not in the same place and the upper shock mounts may no fit right under the 1.0 body.

I run inner lower on the tower and inner on the hub. Best camber link setup I have found so far with this truck. I also use a 2.0mm rear sway bar with this setup. This is the setup that was developed by Billy Fischer and Casey Peck. You have to cut the link down a bit for this setup, or do what I did which was to use a set of front upper links in the rear(they are a bit shorter than the rears).

The above really lets the truck rotate well in the corners.
