since the 2.0 rear camber links are 115mm(losa6545)....would the SHORTER 100mm 1.0 rear camber links(losa6539) work if the lower/outside tower and "b" hub holes were used....rather than shortening the 115mm links..??....all in an effort to be able to adjust for the proper rear camber, of course.

As I just said, I use the 2.0 front links in the rear. They are 107mm or something like that. Perfect length.

i know some of guys have the problem, where you cant have the carb lined up straight because the carb boot, will rub i put my engine. in today on my eight 1.0 t and have it straight and the boot, isnt rubbing at all . im using the stock diff mount also, it doesnt look like the diff mount was sanded down ethier.

now on my eight, buggy that was a diffrent story.

How can that be it's the same diff same mount same linkage same servo tray same engine mount no matter which one you use. The buggy and truck have to be the same or somethings different.

Maybe different engine, on GRP engines the carb sits a little further away from the head than any engine I've had before it.

i know the buggy and truggy uses the same radio tray, but i think the truggy chassis sits farther back. and, the buggy is more foward not sure. also my clutch bell screw doesnt, rub the fuel tank ethier on the truggy.

im running a rb engine with a rb carb.

neobart 03-27-2010 09:16 AM

The correlation between engine and radio tray is the same for buggy and truggy. They may have spaced the tank a little further from the engine in the truggy since there's more room to work with.

Agreed! There should be no difference in the carb angle between buggy and truggy if all other factors are the same(engine, carb, engine mount, etc...). The truggy fuel tank is spaced a few mm further away from the engine.

From center diff foward, buggy and truggy are the same positions, the diffs, shock tower, shocks, universals, are different parts from each, just the position of the center diff, engine mount, servo saver, tank, radio tray, exhaust bracket.

Sorry that is not correct actually. Everything (center diff, radio tray, etc..) sits a bit further back from the front in the truggy as it does in the buggy. The front center shaft is longer as a result. Everything is about 10mm or so further back in the truggy, but it is all moved the same distance so the engine/center diff/ servo relationship is the same.;)

Try green and blk and go to a softer clutch like a king headz 6061. Just changing the clutches to a little softer will increase the bite. I like the 6061 shoes :D

Looking at getting another Roller to add to my converted electric one and have the latest stock got any of the updated parts like the brake discs, v2 rear shock tower etc?
Thanks.

neobart 03-28-2010 03:31 AM

Don't know about the tower, but they do have the updated servo saver and brake discs.

anyone here have any issues with their drive shafts and cups. i had problems today with the front shaft coming out. i replaced the cup but only lasted a little while and it came out again, the shaft is now worn and needs replacing too. a few others at the track have also had issues with this. the only way around it for the mean time is to run 107 or so droop on the front instead of 110. even when new the shafts only just make it to the cup.
