So I've narrowed my choice to affordable werks b5 that everyone says is awesome or an exspensive toro nero long stroke 7 port. The problem is I like lots of power. Tell you the truth I love .28's despite there fuel economy and drive well with tons of power everywhere. Its not a problem at the local races here cause I can pit twice like everyone else and not run out of fuel. But everyone and there mother who races still acts like they need 10 min runtime motors and has real deal .21's. Soooo which of these motors sounds right for me? Thanks

check out the alpha line of engines. they are extremely powerful and super fuel efficient. i run the z852 in my truggy with the 0801 APlus pipe. the motor is compared to the toro nero. and they run a little over 200 bucks. these motors are availible at trackstarrc.com or rcproproducts.com.

A nova engine is good for 9+ gallons some say 12+ I wonder if these alpha engines will hold up that long??? I have 7.5 gallons on a speed engine and it still pulls hard.

I love the smart diffs on dry loose or bumpy tracks and they are only for the front and center. On smooth well maintained tracks they slow you down a little. As for engine well that one is up for debate, personally I love the OS speed engines but they are pricy and they work best with the worlds most expensive pipe the OS 2060. The Ninja is a good alt and people seem to like the Werks engine line they are much cheaper.

I change fuel tubing monthly. I like to be safe on that, silicone can rot and dry out.

You have to find the right tubing that fits perfect through the opening. I personally use kyosho fuel line it goes through the tank perfectly. I take the old line out feed the new line through grab it through the fill opening with needle nose pliers yank it through and cut off the part you pinched with the pliers put the clunk on the end and back in the tank and pull it out to the right length and it's done.

Hey what about reedy .21 any one runing that in their 8T 2.0? Im really leaning towards that engine for 2 reason's the price and its power with the JP3 pipe. ( heard its a good combo). So i think the smart Diffs wil be good to have on hand in my pit box thanks a Lot Frank!!!!
