does just moving the posstion of the shock do any good or do u also have to move the camber link to get any kind of result. sounds to me that moving the shock does one thing while moving the camber link does another.

no, you will see a difference with only the shock move...but you wont get the full effect unless you move the camber links

yes i am saying the "b" hole

moving it to the outer lower hole on the tower and the "b" hole on the hub
will be like what drake said here...
"The new camber holes will increase steering and also react quicker. The lower camber link holes will have more camber gain and more steering."

yes.. the rear will be more planted..and stay more flat.. but it will be ALOT more responcive...more like a buggy

STRAIGHT FROM DRAKE HIMSELF, FOR THE GUYS WHO WANT TO KNOW WHERE HE RUNS IT..
"I run my standard set-up from the Silver State, but with the outside shock mounting hole on the V2 tower and 127mm rear droop. The outside shock mounting hole allows the truck to drive a little flatter and react quicker when changing directions. The new camber holes will increase steering and also react quicker. The lower camber link holes will have more camber gain and more steering."

Thanks any input with setup on bce chassis[it's coming]

From the sounds of it Drake is running one of the original camber link holes. Good news for me as the KHZ V2 tower doesn't have the new camber holes(but does have more shock locations than even the losi V2 tower). Ah might have to buy the losi tower anyway to give it a try.

I have been running the shorter rear links(inner most hole on the hub) for some time now. Main thing I noticed was an increase in off power turn in.

I run the bce chassis and I use the same setup that I did with the stock chassis. I am running a v2 king heads tower and stock droop and ride height. Recently I did lower the ride height 2 mm f and r and I noticed that the truck turned alot better it wad a little bit more to handle onthe open straights but the indoor track we are running right now doesn't let the engine even get close to top speed. Otherwise just run the same setup you have been running wight the bce chassis.

Hey everybody. Havn't been around much as I've been really busy with personal problems, but my Truggy is still sitting in the garage near-spotless.

Are people still demolishing pinions on these...Was there a quick solution to the problem??

Thanks.

As stated above Drake is using his Silver State setup with the V2 Tower. The added camber holes are just for adjustment. The ONLY changes to his setup are The outer shock mounting hole on the tower and 127mm droop. He still uses the stock swaybar, pistons, and fluid.

If you have any doubts of this setup feel free to pm me your email and I will forward you the email that Adam sent me. Hope this clears up some of the confusion!:)
