I will give that a shot. Thank you.

I only ask because I have a spare diff built but it has a '45t' ring gear. I have no idea how I ended up with this one. LOL.

No, they are not the same between buggy and truggy. Same number of teeth, but not the same gear and not interchangeable. Like 13asher said, the black gears go in truggy, silver in buggy.

The 45t gear could be from a sportwerks car. They used the same diffs as the losi cars do but used a 45t ring gear. Not sure what the LST uses for a ring gear, but they also use diffs similar to the losi buggy/truggy.;)

Wow, how slow I am. LOL. All these years and I never made the connection. Thank you guys. So now that I'm cleared up on that one I still dont' know how I ended up with a 45t ring gear. Oh well. I'll mark it and put it in the weird stuff box. LOL.

The throttle horn has larger holes than usual to accomidate the Losi set up
I know that Integgy have them though you'll just have to look into it.
I have a few integy hop up parts on my 8T.2 including chassie braces and servo horns..

most of the throttle horns for losi you have to drill yourself to fit the linkage. i havent seen one yet except for the losi ones that you dont have to drill

Why alum on throttle ? Do you really feel its "Needed"

nitroal 05-24-2011 08:10 AM

i went with the aluminum on the throttle because about every 3 races i was having to replace the stock plastic. the hole for the brake linkage gets sloppy and the brakes get inconsistant. also switched to the dynamite linkage.

I think Dave wants some prettiness on his truck.

Stripped the insert this weekend, and I tend to fix things right the first time.

They make just the metal inserts.
