So whats the range on the telemetry stuff? I get no readings on rpm, temp, or speed further than about 50ft away. Something tells me I should actually read some of those manuals I got..... Lol

Losi flywheel is 34mm.

Works with stock and quick change engine mounts.

With the Werks setup, you can use the stock bell, no need to flip mounts. Light or superlight flywheels are very nice on a truggy.

If the receiver is working (you are able to drive the truck) the telemetry should work. My advise though, take all that telemetry stuff out and throw it in the garbage!!! I does not work properly...

I know that going to the quick change motor mount raises the engine a bit, making it a little more of a pain to start. Anyone tried using a 36mm flywheel?

never tried larger flywheel, but i put a shims on the starter box to raise the starter wheel a little.

I have the quick change mount. It does raise the motor slightly. I still use a Losi clutch, and I also use the Ofna truggy starter box and everything works great.

Other starter boxes may have different results.

Ive gone thru 3 cars, maybe a dozen motors and 4 boxes and have not had to adjust anything. Stock clutch/ flywheel and the boxes came pre built. One Hudy/Mugen and the others were Ofna boxes. Just put everything together like the book says. Although, Ive done it so much I pretty much have the book memorized:lol:

Kind of wierd:weird: Allways seeing questions like this. What are you guys doing that results in needing to adjust stuff?? Just wondering.

My Ofna box is the blue with chrome top, strong SOB,one motor, direct drive, no belts, but the wheel is so big, if I'm less than 1/32 off, it rubs the frame. .......way too critical. I'm using a dynamite box and its working, just need to put the losi guides on it somehow......

Hi all.
I have a problem finding the right screw for the steering rack.
Those two screws only exists on that place I think.
I need only one screw and really don't want to buy the whole set.

Does anybody know if I can get the screws only or to solve this another way?

sickpuppy1 09-16-2012 05:14 AM

Losi only sells it as part of the kit, as far as I could see. One kit that uses alot of shoulder bolts is the slash. Probably just hit up a hobby shop to see whats there.

I called Horizon the other day about needing just the drag link screw and was told that no one else has called about needing just the screw...
Don't know for sure if the guy was telling the truth but seriously guys pick up the phone sometimes and tell them what you need instead of always running to the forum for help.
The guy said if more people had actually complained about needing just the screw that it would be available by now is where I'm coming from, just sayin.
What I'm getting at is we should not have to buy a whole drag link kit for just a screw is nonsense and should be something that they should make available, period.
