Will this battery fit in the reciever tray?

Going by the dimensions I would guess no. Why not just buy the losi one for $10 more and have the perfect fit. It is basically the perfect size(no coincidence).;)

The protek caught my eye. In the reviews i see it says it will not fit. Must be due to the height
protek is 31 W x 32 L x 55 H mm
losi is 40 W x 52 L x 20 H mm

Yea at 20mm high the losi one barely fits. 32mm won't work. The losi pack is a pretty good one. Best bet for the losi cars(again, no coincidence).

Short ackerman will help a lot. Thinner rear sway bar, shorter rear camber links.;)

i dropped back to stock on the front swaybar and it helped considerably over the 2.5, gonna keep the 2.5 in rear and put the short ack on and see how it goes.the truck was awesome with both 2.5's on power

Holy Swaybar Batman!!! I run a 2.0mm bar in the back and 2.3mm in the front. IMO 2.5 is way too heavy. It'll give you on-power steering out the A$$, but like you noticed completely eliminate off power turn in. The only time I run above 2.3mm is on the front of my E buggy.

I love that thing. But you are right you guys did try to tell me. I gotta tear them apart I knew I should have just replaced the r/p but instead I transfered them and well I am suprised they help up. They sound real loud.

Frankie (aka grasshopper) you don't listen to them either ? Kids now days !! And that noise you thought was your diffs was really me motoring by you !! LOL !!! true story !

Hi guys.
Can you comment my driving in this video
Basically i used Yannick truggy setup, but i used short ackerman, front toe was -2 degrees, front ride height was 41mm and rear 44mm and I used standart clutch setup.

Looks like most other losis. But you overshoot every turn - slow down prior to entry and roll through with a smooth fluent motion, carry some speed through center, smooth squeeze of throttle as you accel out of turn. Takes some practice and discipline, you can pick up several seconds per lap on this track.

Guys, had a pretty good run at the AMS race this past weekend. Had a slight issue with my brakes feeling kind og grabby under full braking, was able to get Adam Drake to help me out, and let me tell you it was like night and day difference. Went from 2nd in the C main to winning it by almost a lap. Started 14th out of 15 in B, had worked my way up to 4th then I had a tire come unglued. First time I have ever had a tire I mounted come unglued. Actually glued numerous sets at this race with no issues, then I used an older bottle of glue and disaster. Drake also added a little toe out to the front, I then switched from the short back to the long ackerman. Before all this help I really liked the way the truck drove, now its like out of this world. Adam and mike are both great guys and losi should be proud at the way they represent them and the entire hobby.

Just to let you know, the main thing drake changed was the amount of slack in the brake pads. I had installed the aluminum center diff mount and had the nuts holding the pads on tightened down to flush, he actually ran them in almost another thread, my brake endpoint on my dx3r is at 38. Brakes feel linear and progressive. Could scrub a little speed for the sweepers or hit them harder to snap the rear through the tight turns. Truck performed flwless all weekend along with the novarossi plus4 team engine.

Really looking forward to my next race to test out these changes
