Robinson makes one.:D I actually used that on my 1.0 T before the 50t was released. Losi used to make one too but they discontinued that because of the 50(I think:confused:)

Almost everyone on the Losi team runs the 50T. Even when they race at the Nitro Pit;) These little engines are ment to rpm, so let them sing!!:nod:

The 50t protrudes through the chassis more than I like. I'm thinking of going to a 48 just for that reason.

Is that directed at me? If so then you must be kidding yourself as I've been to many big races on BIG tracks and have seen the gearing these guys run. Heck before the 50T came out everone was running the 12/48 wich is a much taller gearing than 13/50:nod:

IMO 13/50 is the most ideal gearing for a truggy. always has been, and for some reason losi opted for a 48t spur on the 1.0. Most truggies on the market today use 13/50 gearing. It just works.:nod: Now I can see some situations where it might be too tall, but for the most part it is perfect. Just my 2 cents.

50T spur came out after the 8ight T was introduced.

Yes, this is true, but don't you think they could have taken the time to engineer/produce a 50t for the 1.0 T? Seems to me that if they could engineer the truggy, they could have engineered a 50t spur at the same time.:D

This truck eats rear hub bearings. I go through at least one side every 30 min main. The last set came apart completely, It held together and let me finish the main but it was toast after. This has proved the be a weak spot on this truck. I'm going to have to get a set of hubs with the larger bearings from J0dub. I cant believe the way this truck eats rear bearings... Minus this this truck is great. It floats where others have problems and flies off of the jumps., I love it. :nod: :nod: :nod:

My 8T 2.0 bodies are finally done, now I get to drive my truck after a month of patiently waiting.:sneaky: When I first brought it home, my wife said the body looked like a fish so I had a "Finding Nemo" paint job done for a joke along with a regular race body. One last big indoor race in Canada and it will finally time to race outdoors again. You guys in the south and out west have it so good.:lol:
