I have noticed the inside of my truck is dirtier than usual like it has gas spilled all over the roof of the truck. I do use a long zip tie. I never thought that the tank could be opening up, but my run time is down from what it used to be with the 1.0. So I need to open up the hole the zip tie goes through? That is the solution?

i would think it would help....i had the little piece of tubing on like in the pics and it was sure as Shi* opening on me....there's NO FREEKIN WAY my motor was leaking THAT bad....so the only reasonable explanation is the tank...so ive removed the piece of tubing and its tie all the way through....im also going to make it a circle instead of a square....i could care less to go through all that again.

Use a longer tie the tube dosn't come close to the body when the tank closed.

If you land just right upside down it will open the lid. They have those lid pullers comming out from the rtr 2.0. I'm sure it has been posted http://http://www.losi.com/Products/...rodID=LOSB5007

mine was a clean 1/2" away from the cut out....i found it hard to believe it at first but like i said it was the only reasonable excuse...>Also i have throttle bands around the tank lid which should have kept it closed.:rolleyes:obviously not.

While we are putting up pics, here is mine from last week in Rescue CA. It was her first race, I was able to qualify 2nd behind Philip Atondo, and was one of 3 truggy drivers to put in a 10 lap qual. The main was a hard battle with 2 other drivers for the 2nd spot, and I ended up 3rd.

hey guys, im rebuilt the truggy from the nitro challenge a while back and havent ran it because i finally got a new shock shaft. i already put the 1.0 servo spring on it and put avid bearings all the way around. is there anything else i need to do to make this trouble free?

You need to change the inner camber link screws thay are too short. Also the screw that goes into the wing with the nut is too short, not sure of the part number.

Camber Link Screws

Camber Link Screws

So funny you say this. Ran mine for the first time last night and one of those camber link nuts came off and I lost 2 of my wing mount screws.

I am steadily comming back to this thread checking for things like this.. Wing nut screws, I have not ran mine yet and I want to try to get most of the problematic things fixed before taking it out..
