I got mine yesterday and already tore it down and put in the HD diff cases and kingheadz chassis braces and losi front and rear adjustable hings pin holders and losi top plate. Threw on new jconcept rims and switches,, gotta find a good cheap painter now or get skinz for the body! http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m...cture079-1.jpg

LOL I just put in new batteries and wife got the camera not too long ago and I still dont have a clue how to set the thing yet. LOL Point and shoot , just like the way i drive r/c's !

FYI jldjlaudio running 1/2 offset will take away some steering and can cause erratic handling from what ive experienced/seen.

jldjlaudio 05-02-2009 01:40 PM

yeah I just threw them on there for the pics and for my 3 yr old to push it around the house and beat on it LOL.. Tires arent even glued to the rims yet. Gonna have to get some new rims and tires. prolly same rims but with the right offset! Hey thanks for the heads up though as I have not ran this beast yet. I am hoping to fire it up today sometime but with the stock rims and tires on it.

HEy looking at your photobucket pics,, the 8ight fuel tanks, what did you use to seal the lines comming out of the tanks and does it really leak there that bad?

Not really...i just didn't like the wetness that did develop there.....im pretty sure that has been addressed with the 2.0 tanks.

Just a suggestion for you Trevor, I would remove the fuel tubing from your fuel tank pull and shorten up the ziptie just a tad. I had problems with it opening (in the middle of the main, of course) when I used fuel tubing & a long tie.

The wraps look great! Are you running the Ofna header with the 053?

I questioned WTF was going on when my whole truck came back SOAKED after a clean quali....turn's out the puller was opening the cap and causing fuel to slosh all over....so ill 2nd this point of using ONLY the tie and no tubing...or Opening up the hole the tie goes through.

pilotwings119 05-02-2009 05:22 PM

I had it happen once when I had the fuel gun hole cut out of the roof - the fuel went straight through it after the truck flipped over forwards and landed upside down. No mess anywhere, but also no fuel left ;)
