If the R comes with the 5mm chassis then yes you can just bolt on and go with the X3. BCE gives you both options of long or short braces, both holes are there.

Cool thanks! Good to know aswell sice i use the king headz front brace on stock chassis thinking it was useless now.

When they are hanging down and the droop screws are sitting on the chassis it is fine.

The problem is when you compress the suspension the shock bodies bottom out aginst the plastic spring retainers.

Personally, i found that running the inside holes on the arms made the car a little more direct, whereas the outer holes definitelly made the car settle down to a degree. Biggest question is what is your surface like, and what tires are you using? Thats the first thing i change if i dont like the way the car is, and 80% of the time this will solve most of my problems, eg: Going to a small pin tire instead of a large pin. Occasionally, even tire compounds can make a difference...
