Ive heard Many of pins breaking on some of the Name brand Tools, Ill stick to what's worked for 100's of pins over the years.
And I DO NOT suggest the HUDY, If you think replacing pins with a Hammer is the way to do it, well your sadly mistaken. Hardened pins Can and will shatter if your not careful as you have found out.

Some tools have guides to secure the chain, those have to be dremeled.
I'm going to check them stores now, thanks for all the help.
I'm very happy with the Mugen tool. Before I tried other tools and I took me almost an hour to replace all pins. With the Mugen tool I do it in less than 10 minutes.

MUGEN MBX6 CHASSIS FROM M2C RACING
M2C RACING is pleased to announce the release of the MUGEN MBX6
TRUGGY CHASSIS. We have tested this chassis on many different surfaces.
The steel skid plates will extend the life of the chassis and is replacable.
So when you wear down the plates, replace them and you will be back to
the origional thickness. We have found that if you stop the wear before it
get bad then the chassis will last much longer.

Bought a simple chain breaker, have to modify the chain guides and then it's time to undo the mess I did.
Previous owner installed the under-drive gear, I'm eager to drive this thing. BTW I'm starting with the basic setup.

I changed all my axle pins with a 3# hammer and a bicycle chain tool: http://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-CT-5.../dp/B000RZMWE0 easy peasy. gentle tapping and patient pin pressing. Only a few minutes after the first couple.

Time for a initial review.
Today was the third practice session on track to dial a setup and see if any issues pop out. The first and second outing were bad, the car behaved almost like my Kanai 2 but very inconsistent and weird to drive, something was not right. Engine was spot on though. Showed potential on the handling department.
Well after resetting camber and toe, went to mid hole on rear hub and today was a nice 8 minute session. Lost the upper screw on the pipe hanger and engine would die in 5 seconds, car would get upset pretty easy and I assembled the rear right swaybar ball on the wrong side. I'm running 450cps front and 400cps rear with stock pistons, I think it's too thin because my local track is like the 2012 worlds track and Batlle was using 45wt front and 40wt rear.
Track manners are different because of the underdrive but I'm getting accustomed.

Time for a very condensed review. Car is 100% well built and I hate the underdrive. I'm dead serious, it lacks consistent grip, the only thing it manages better than my Kanai 2 is being nimble. For the record, there was a ishima rave racing my mbx6 and it was much better than mine, seemed much easier to drive and held a corner miles better.
I'm using the basic mbx6 setup and can't get enough side bite and forward bite.

And your tires are good for that track?

They were working very well 2 weeks earlier, it's hard packed clay-ish with fine dust on top. Tires are sweep square armors red compound I think. The weather is bad ATM but I'll try a set of DLD Hat Trick tires like the ishima was using. BTW the ishima front tires were bald on the center, it was just 3 rows of pins on both sides .
I'm not giving up though. Thanks for helping me.

Just got back from the PNB (well yesterday). Ran my 6 in 1/8 sportsman. Worked really well, didn't finish 3rd qual because fuel line got pinched in tank lid. Qual'd 1st in C-main, finished 6th - was running 1st or 2nd for most of it until I had to come in for fuel. Son did a good job fueling me up but I hosed the lap after it (+20 seconds). Just couldn't catch back up.
I took some nasty tumbles off the big jump and flat landed the kicker way more than I should have. Didn't break a thing, only had one side of front sway bar come out of collar. This is one tough car.
My friend's son was racing a 7 and broke 5 tanks.

Sounds like you had a fun weekend MunchMunch!
I noticed you live in Greenville, do you race anywhere locally? I'm a race noob trying to get back into the hobby..... picked up an old used MBX6 and am in the process of setting it up. Been looking around for tracks in the area (which there are none in my tree-hugging neck of the woods), was wondering if you ever race in Easley or maybe someplace else?
