Ok guys, this is the gear with two of the holes countersunk... its actually the first gear i did to practice on... its for my TC4. The TC4 gear adapter was easier to use as a jig... i didnt wanna mess the T2 mount up in the process. Anyways, you can see the difference between the button head and the flat head... it definitely makes room for the clearance issues.

Here's the latest One-way / Carpet / Foam Setup update.
DISCLAIMER: For carpet racing with foams, XRAY recommends a setup with a front ball diff. Therefore all U.S. and Canadian kits come standard with two ball diffs and do not include an XRAY Multi-Diff (one-way). The setup information involving the use of a front one-way, provided in the thread mentioned above, is a project and should be treated as such. The use of a front one-way is normally more difficult to dial in a working setup and subsequently drive with. It should not be attempted by a beginning novice driver.
Although there isn't much difference from the previous setup sheet, I've attached a jpeg image of the updated T2 setup below.

one-way/carpet/rubber setup? + bodyshells
anyone have a one-way/carpet/rubber setup?
For asphalt with one-way/rubbers I'm running medium flex chassis, 5mm rh, -2deg all round, 30wt, 3holes all round, kit springs.
For carpet I'm thinking stiff chassis, and the rest the same as my asphalt setup, to start with.
we have to run rubbers on the carpet. Most folk are using CS-22's, tamiya type-A's or Carpet Dragon's..
only had my T2 for a week, and haven't done a lot of tuning as yet.. obviously haha
Also wonder what peoples preferred body shell's are for carpet/asphalt with this car?
I'm loving the caddy so far for asphalt, havent tried it on carpet yet (trying it tonight). have had previous luck with Alfa shell on carpet with a losi..
taa
