You'll need the Yokomo Spec R (or an actual Yokomo gear diff). No need for an aftermarket spool, the kit supplied slipper spool is by far the best.

Hi Guys,

Your assistance has been great, and therefore as performance punishment I have another question.

I have fitted the front and rear anti-roll bars, but they move around a little and the anti-roll bar mounts also move. I assume this is correct behavior as I followed the instructions to the letter, however, on a previous car (TA05), they were firm and didn't move.

Is this just a different implementation?

Thanks

Buy Tamiya #53827 or any other brand Rod Stopper, basically it will stop that movement. It's not a matter of malfunction, but it's best to have it.

Check with www.driftspeed.com for Yokomo. No shimming required, in fact you'll have to shave a little off the case to make it fit (lots of posts on here about that).

Hello,

I am considering buying a new TC6, but still have plenty of time until our next nationals. Do somebody know if AE is going to release updated version of TC6 in coming 3 months?

Very unlikely, AE cars tend to stand the test of time.

Get the car now and enjoy 3 months of testing so that you're well prepared for the nationals.

Got a look at the 12R6 too... what an experience. Had some issues with my LRP esc and walked right over to Sean Cochran for some help.

Big shout out to Region 11 (WA state) rep Sean Maybell, there all week to help us local guys out. Multiple times seen roaming the pits with a box of parts and set up tips, can't say it enough how he is the perfect guy for us to lean on.

The only thing I decided to upgrade is the front body posts, went with the CRC thickies. Thanks Bob, Sean and Maybell for an awesome experience. Wish I could have ran my main, but my ESC took a dump post tech and could not fire back up. Again Sean C is handling it..

AE RULES!!!
