I know buddy but you know how anal (thorough) I am about this hobby I'm still a fan of the 'Schmurple'....never had the 'Luxurious One' or Assoc. BLUE. I'll give that a read though...

Something to think about jaybee. The bulk heads are very soft and bend easily two guys at my track have bent a couple and one of them hardly hits anything also both of them had the big aluminum nut for the servo saver fall off a few times so they lock tighted them other than that the car seems pretty good. I built one of the cars and it went together ok fitment was good.

won mod last lower final

made a lot of mistakes at saturday (drive 2x times in wrong Q group) but it
was fun

I start driving with almost factory setup except:
- silver outer balls with spacers,
- lowered roll center at rear and front end,
- pistones like Keven and thicker oil (little wrong choice).

Now, there is my setup with links like wtcc test at his local track.

And car was easy to drive, fast in corners and only me doesn't use this right

hehehe

I can't share the experience with the weak bulkheads. I had some real hard full speed crashes into strong walls and not one problem with bend aluminum parts. The plastic parts will give up first protecting the carbon and aluminum (but only if you hit something strong)!
That is my experience with the car since november and a number of races.

Same here, my car has been launched into fences a few times and a person, car is still good. I've only removed tweak once. I'm yet to break anything on my car.

Do you know if this issue is more so with the front or rear bulkheads? Looks like in order to keep all 4 bulkheads the same (lower production costs), they allowed the rears to hang out the back when they don't need to (1 mount hole not used in rear). Taking it in the rear, they would take the brunt of the impact. Wouldn't take much to trim those rears back if they are part of the potential problem.

I am one of the average Drivers that hits the wall once in a while, or maybe more often

So far no Problems with the Bulkheads

However, I killed one Front Bulkhead when a young Kid thought its a real good idea to set his Car on the Track about 2/3rd down the straight just when my 4,5T powered TC6 approached

No chance to react or break.

Luckily the Kid didn't experience any injuries, but I belive he learned the lesson.

On the TC6 the right Bulkhead was dead besides a few plastic parts like Servo Horn, Steering rod eyes, lower steering mount.

Well, i've seen Chassis, Top Decks, Shock Towers and more break on crashes like that. All I can say, pretty reliable the TC6

It was front bulk heads on both cars ,who knows they might of hit just right or something I'm just sharing what I've seen personaly. As for handling I think the cars are great and work very well. The boards we use are very car friendly (2 1/2 square plastic gutter pipe) and we don't se much breakage.

Yes i have herd their customer service is great. Personally i have not owned a newer associated car but know many who have and they really like them and if they improved their anodizing i would probably get one but i like all my anodizing to be the same color (and orange lol).

Hey this is my first electric car, it will be here on friday and i would like to know if anyone here has the R-spec gear diffs and where can i get them in the U.S, and also what size shims are recomended for use of the R-spec diff.
