I just heard throught the grapevine that my good buddy and racing accomplice, Andrew Doherty, is now officially part of Team Schumacher.
Shawn decided that in spite of Andrew's dorkiness, that he still can be a vital asset to Schumacher USA. AWD has really stepped up his game the past 6 months and I look forward to see where he is going in the racing community.
Welcome to the team!!!!

None of the top guys has been able to get near the 1350 limit, especially with an Mi3.
Mine with 6cells, a Nosram ISTC and 13.5 weighed over 1570g, when I first weighed it it was around 1600g

The EFRA 1350 limit was a joke, in fact I understand it was basically a mistake that it ever got past. The belief going into the AGM last year was that they were going to leave with 4 cell - and the proposal to go with this was 1350g on weight - as that was equal to 2 cells. However, things happened and they ended up with 5 cell, but still passed the weight at 1350!!!
There is a proposal to EFRA for this weekend's AGM to go 1400. UK went 1425 last weekend, and the view of our EFRA rep was that it wouldn't take much to get EFRA to also adopt 1425.
Last year with std bulkheads, std servo and (I think) std weight shell my car was about 1425 - around 5g lighter than Olly Jeffries's HB Cyclone - we happened to weight cars together during practice at last national.
I now have a set of l/w bulkheads sitting in front of me - so fairly confident that weight of my car is fine, in fact if cells are same weight next year (and it wouldn't surprise me if they are a little lighter) i'll have to add weight to car.

Call me petty if you will, but its the principle.
Anyway, if you want a newer improved version (with thanks to Linger)...
