AHHH BUSTER!!!!
I called that hobby shop today to check on the motors and some guy last night came in and bought them out. They had 6. DAMNIT!!!!!

Looks like Jim Damerell and I will be coming down to Gaithersburg this weekend. We should be getting there Friday afternoon so with any luck we'll be able to see the track and maybe get some practice in before Saturday.

Tire & insert combo for asphalt
Hello, need your guy's opinion.
I am going to be racing my micro on smooth asphalt this
weekend. I want to know what tire & insert combo's you guys are using?
I was thinking about sorex 36r tires with HPI blue or red inserts?

I amm assume you meant T1.
What is the Temp where you race. I have heard that the Sorex 36 Tires are great when the asphalt is really hot? Maybe the 28's with a Firm Insert would be a good start. It really depends on the weather. for 36's usually a Medium Inseert.

Sorry about that LOL !! I meant my xray. I figure it would be in the
60-70's this weekend. So I figure sorex 28 with hpi red inserts
might be the perfect combo. I might just go for the 32's since it
is getting hotter in the bay.

I am going to be racing my tc3 on carpet (stock class). I am kind of new so i was wondering if you guys have any good advice on setups (tires, inserts, shocks, and other stuff you can think of). Also I am thinking of buying the Novak TC2 esc. I haven't really made up my mind yet. If you have any different esc that you think would be better please tell me.

What's up Buster?? Do ya have room for one more on the big table??? LOL I might be there if it's raining. We were going to set up the track tomorrow (parking lot) but rain will most likely dampen that. :(
