Thanks
It comes with the Hudy setup boards, the decal sheet, the droop gauge, 4 piece hex and 1 philps screw driver, the tool set is exactly you need to put that car together, to bad that it does not come with the turnbuckle wrench.

My opinion is get the T1, you will not regret it.

I do not have tc3, but i have 2 T1s and 1 Pro, and 1 Pro 3

The TC3 is will be easier to set up to 80% the Xray will need a bit of time to get the right setting. TC3 is much more fragile compared to the T1. The fact that I only have one TC3 and 2 T1 speaks volume about the two cars!

Damo: I'm intrested in the wrenches only, let me know how much you want them for it, if over 40 don't bother, i could get it for 50 from a friend

I wanted to sell all of the extra stuff together. Thanks anyhow.

YOu guys have to remember that the option parts are just that, options. Maybe they will work better for some people than others. This is why they give the tip about it working well on a left handed track (battery chassis). With that chassis, you can still use the standard mounting positions, and you can also mount three cells further forward than you could previously. As far as the one belt design, this to is an option. What if they didn't at least give the design a try? Then you might always wonder what might of been. Now we can determine if the one belt design will work without having to sacrifice all of the luxeries that the T1 gives us when tuning, and going with the losi car. Would losi give you the option of trying a two belt design? would associated give you the option of trying belts? Truth be told, what options besides light outdrives has associated really come out with for the TC3? Is this to say there car is perfect out the box? NO otherwise there would not be a ton of aftermarket stuff out there for it. The only manufactuer that really gives good options is Yokomo. Anyhow, Once I saw that they were making options that the users requested I bought another kit to use for Mod. No other manufactuer listens to races like Xray (member associated rear hub situation, they stated it was user error).
I've babled enough.

It is difficult to say how it handles compared to the TC3. I had driven a PRO2 for over a year and then upgraded to the XRAY and my driving style actually improved with the available fine tuning the XRAY offers.

The TC3 is a different animal and I find it limited in tuning but is the least hardest to setup and is usually on the mark when driven well.

I can weave my way pass the TC3 in turns. I can knife through turns and not break traction when dialed for the conditions. I can not get the TC3 dialed the same as the XRAY to accomplish the same task. It is fair to say that I do not have the same amount of time and effort spent on the TC3 that I do with the XRAY also.

Either car is a great buy, but I prefer the infinite adjustability over a fixed setting that the TC3 has. Making adjustments to the XRAY is a snap.

If I forget to add lubrication to the brushes, I burn them up. I fried a MVP that way and since then I have made a larger effort to tune them and break them in properly.

The track that is shown is not the track I run on, that track is in Canada I believe.

Most of those parts seen recently where freshly made for the show and I would not expect them to be available for another two months before atleast a quarter of the XRAY of owners have them.

Default new Xray for sale if you're looking

I have a new one for sale in the box...ordered it a while ago and just got it, but have now focused on the RC Lab 7even chassis.

Selling it at $300 to try and get back some on it. That's $30 cheaper than I paid plus tax.

Sorry, it didn't come w/the free HUDY stuff. Wish it did. I opened the box to check and see...other than that, the box has never been opened.

Too late, I am committed to buy another XRAY for less. Someone will buy it.

I ran my Xray this week for the first time. I have had it since March but have been busy racing real cars for the summer.

I ran on ozite with rubber tires. My first impression is the car is pretty good. Does not have a ton of roll speed but I have made some gains. Ran within 0.1 of the fastest cars but am a little rusty. Qualified 5th out of 24 or so cars. Noticed the car is a little lazy getting into the corner. Did make some gains by going to less caster. Stood the rear shocks up and freed the car up a bit. I was running the shaft very loose and that helped. The front one-way should really make some gains. I am still waiting for it and some springs. I wasn't able to work on springs yet.

Very well built car though. The car tracks straight and seems to have great bite off the corner.

What other springs will work on these cars? The associated are too long for the front.

T1 does looks precise and should be competitive enough to race as well as other people has saying about it.

Does anyone care to explain any flaws / disadvantages / problems or other difficulties running or tuning the T1?

What about optional or other must have spare parts costs?

I'm considering of getting the T1 when it is available as a single belted kits.

Thanks in advance

I had ran my T1 two times and the car is smooth, good power.
The car has alot of adjustments, you have toe, camber, antidive, downstops, caster, track withd, wheelbase lenght, 4 step shock clicker, ride height, battery placement for steering or tracktion purpose, i don't think i miss anything, if i did someone will proably add to this, but this car is for serious racer, not for beginers.

Option parts:

front sway bars
rear sway bar
belt tenioner
precut bumper for transponder
precut bumper plate for transponder
front oneway diff
and more that i could not name them

Out of the box is pretty much you'll need just depends on your driving style.

Spare parts i would get:

steering blocks
front upper arms
front lower arms
rear arms
extra belts

hope this helps
