I do the outside 3/4's as the outside edge is miles stiffer than the inside edge and its the outside that provides the grip and the inside chunks to easily if you TQ it! I also have some development bits on my car our distributor had made up but we aint sure if they are gonna release them yet. Rick

Hummm, I see....
What are they in respect to the new developments? Can you give us a few ideas???

My car has a IR of 1.77 now but i dont know if Hudy or xray are aware of these parts or if the distributor has just had them made as a trial for the UK only, so noine of you go pestering your distributers or hudy for them as you will not be able to get them!.

Rick your setup looks nice. I may try the caster settings you have. I love the way my car feels, and I love hearing from the fast guys.....wow that thing is really flying out there.
also rick what did or do you think of the setup I posted??
I would agree if you are slapping the chassis go stiffer. As for traction rolling I guess that would also depend on other things also. I'm running purple springs with 60-50 wt oil and the car is on rails.

Yup the setup is sweet, it rotates far harder than any other car i have ever driven. It is so fast through fast chicanes as well. Duration is amazing with the 1.77 IR as the belts can be ran soooooooooo loose its untrue! Rick

Thanks Jeff,
I wonder... you mentioned closing a hole in the rear shock...would opening holes in the front/lighter oil do the same thing?

Thistle, I'm not sure what you'd want to do with front shocks to help with your problem. I'm not sure they'd really effect it that much. The reason I said to close a hole in the rear shocks, is that it would increase pack (slow down rebound) and would help to hold the rear of the chassis down.
I've never had a problem with my car lifting a tire (not that I can remember!), so I don't know from experience what to do. Just keep trying stuff, and let us know what works.

If one of the back wheels was lifting on my car i would look at thefront as the problem as its probably roaling 2 much, try a stiffer spring ond go one hole in on the tower on the front, or just try one hole in to start with.

Rick: Those pulleys are either an Xray part or RW. I've seen a few peeps with them on now so I think they should be going in to production, will know more after the weekend.

The new pulleys are an RW racing part.

what pullies, and where can we get them? lol
although i have to say my xray rolls very freely, more so than the schui's and losi's at my track (although the TC3 still rules in that department).
also anyone know a way to shim up the axles? since mine have some movement to them, around 1-2 degrees worth, which i know isnt much, but for mod on carpet, i would prefer not to have it.

While we are asking questions. If all my shocks are at the exact length each,Then why are the rear droop srews not even touching the chassis @ full extention of the shocks. It has got to be something I have done or I would have heard or read something about it by now.Nothing in TSN or here.Someone whith any ideas.

Thanks Guys, I'll keep this in mind. It'll be a little while before I'm able to do some track testing with the car again. (The on-road season in Manitoba won't start until January.) I had noticed this problem while at "Oktoberfast" and never did get it tuned out.
