the BMI kit does not use the corner braces.that is included in the top deck design.the price is 119.99 and 109.99 with everything you need.there is no catches.i do not offer shock towers at this time and if i did,50.00 sounds a little steep.however.the chassis does look very nice and i wish you alot of luck with it.

The BMI chassis is great. The only issues I have had is that one of the preinstalled motor mount screws backed out as I don't think they were threadlocked from the factory ( I should have checked ) and if you use the stock battery holddown you need to put some foam on it to hold the packs in better. If I could pickup the right size ( they look to be pretty short in length ) I would pick one up immediately.
So just make sure that you threadlock the motor mount screws and use foam on the battery holdown or get a better holdown.

What are some of the common things I can do to get alittle more on power steering? I am currently running plaids & purples, before running tans and cyans, maybe going back to that combo will give me back some of that steerings since the cyans compound other than the outer edge is slightly softer?

Reduce rear droop. Stiffen the rear. Decrease F. Caster. These should help.

I have purchased Penguin products in the past and believe that they provide a well designed and tested product. Besides build quality, the R & D that goes into the performance aspect is really what you're paying for. The unfortunate part is that I believe the Penguin chassis could be a little too late as there were so many competitors that have already released a chassis set and the TC3 may soon be outdated.
Going back to the low-voltage fans, I went to my LHS, yesterday.
The Reedy part number for their small about 1" x 1" brushless fan is part#448. However, we couldn't find a price for it, yet. Perhaps something worth looking into.

rear shock mounting.
has anyone seen the mod you can do to the rear shock tower to get more positive damping?
well what you do is get some 1.5 inches screw or nut and drill a hole in the body post where the screw entres the body post
you can move the shock into position and there you go a fourth mounting position.
