Does anyone know if A Main Hobbies plans too carry the EX version of the Photon. I know they have the USA spec, I got that one from them at the end of last summer. I like to get the EX version to run in another class. At this time I have no intent on giving up the version I own.
Question on the older or USA spec, how do you stop the spring nuts on the coil shocks from backing up on you while you're running? I run a Serpent on-road nitro and I don't be-leave I have ever had and issue with them backing up. ALso I have never seen so many screws loosing up on me, as I have notice in the last two races I have enter. Do you use "blue" lock-tite on all your screws. I had my left front wing loosen up. A screw ware I had to stop running because my cars steering crank got hung on screw backing out. I know you have to check your car in between races. But it seems a bit more. No deferent then my "arm" on my steering serval. The screw if I don't check it every time I will loose my arm. (Yes on my steering serval I'm running aluminum arm.) Hey I like to bull#### while out racing with my friends. I like to say I do this as means of entertainment. But I think we all do "no".

Loving this car too. Raced it for the first time yesterday. Totally stock Photon. And I qualified 3rd in the 17.5 Sportsman class. Running on old 5000mah 40C batteries and a Tekin Redline motor.

Held 2nd place in the main until I got taken out by a backmarker on the very last lap. But I'm seriously down on power. The car was fantastic but some of the other cars just seemed to have more acceleration and top end than I did. The car is so easy to drive fast!

TOP made a new gear diff for the EX that will work on any Photon, it should handle mod or whatever you need it for, and it retails for around $30 or so.
