With everyone at IIC it might be hard to get a pair. I have a pair I was considering replacing they have a little bit of play in them though.

Going to have a nice set of T3 shafts to look at and nothing to
put them in.

I committed (ordered) a set of ecs's and the cups.
Got caught in a showed in stock but were not actually there .
Retailer might have the option to buy a good used set after IIc so that was super cool of him.
Not too many other options until the race is over with unless there is another cup that will work with the t3 style dogbones.

If everything falls through...I will pm you and see if you still have the used set to sell me.
I really appreciate it.

I just bought a TOP Photon from a friend to run VTA with, and have no clue what kind of diff and shock oils to use (first onroad car). Suggestions on diff and shock oil weights to start out with? Can only run one tire set, so no need to experiment with tires. I've only got one set of springs, any suggestions on a spring set?

Where is everyone getting their parts for these from, amain? Are the parts interchangeable with the photon ex? Thanks for any help/suggestions, I think I'm going to enjoy onroad more than offroad.

Edit: looks like this car only uses ball diffs, so no diff oil. How do you tune the diffs, by tension?

the gear diff from the ex will fit into the photon (just has to be shimmed properly for aligment

Default ECS shafts

I read the wiki, but the mira outdrives are discontinued . . .

is the only option to go with the Spec-R shafts?

The ball and pin are bigger then ours. You can make it fit but will require some modification of our outdrives.

TOP DCJ's are coming. About 3 months away.

Cap,

First thing, rebuild the shocks and change the o-ring. I've been using the Kyosho dual lip o-ring, or our standard 40 degree o-ring.

Our stock springs are very good. You should start off with 344gf in the front and 306gf in the rear.

as Professor mentioned lots of parts are interchangable, and we even now offer a conversion kit.

Just an FYI until the top DJS are available the arrowmax ECS shafts for the Tamiya 416/417 work perfect in the photon and the EX. They work with a slight dremel mod on the stock C-hubs, and still use the stock steering blocks and king pin collars. The best part is they work with the stock spool drive cups or the steel ones. And they take no CVD Blades. You just need to use 5x10x3 bearing on the inside of the steering knuckle

Got TONS of packs through my car with zero problems

Hey EJ, how often should you change the Kyosho O-rings?
Do they swell up like the stock ones with oil?
Thanks
