I used Boca Bearing.

hit the 99 cents each page and pick out your size, shipping is free for more than 12 or so.
Mine (all 18) were under 18 bucks.

You can pick rubber seals both sides, rubber/metal or metal/metal.
I like mine so far and got em in a couple days, nice folks too.

(Only in complete form at the moment but the bodyshell by itself shouldn't be too far off.)

k_bojar,

Which brand of steering rack are you talking about? I have not seen Tamiya's offering, so can offer no comment, however 3Racing do two, one alloy and one CF. Tech racing do a CF and Yeah a alloy steering rack, which is similar to the 3Racing alloy steering rack. Here is a photo of mine 3Racing fitted to my MO5M chassis. Works well and has less slop. I have also included a shot of both my MO5's. The MO5M also has 3Racing MO5 alloy front knuckles and 3Racing steering rod. My MO5L has Tamiya alloy front knuckles, Tamiya motor mount and alloy heat sinks. Both cars are MO5 Pro's.

Regards,

Calvin.

But...if nothing else they've provided something decent in the way of new bodyshells.

Lovely looking shell - ironic really that the car is a minger in real life.

my bad, calvin - i meant the new setup from Tamiya...Since i plan on running mine in the TSC, i need to have all tamiya parts on the chassis - so as nice as the 3Racing stuff looks, cannot run it

The best thing you could do is to try to lock up the differential a bit. This will transfer power to the outside wheel.

how do you lock up the diff ?:confused::weird:

tony gray 09-30-2009 02:44 PM

Since the M05 was first announced, we at rc-mini reckoned that the whole thought process behind the car was mainly just to allow the fitment of lower profile bodyshells.

And...coming soon..

You can lock up the gear diff by adding shims, or filling it with glue. If you just want to tighten it up, throw some Tamiya Anti-Wear grease in there.

You can tighten up the ball diff by, well, tightening it up.

Jim

Tamiya body?

Odd if so, wouldn't have thought tamiya would make a RWD car on a FWD chassis.
