If they are trying to enforce sedan rules on a mini than that's a mistake. If your run at 5mmon carpet the car will be much more tippy...but if that's your track rules then... :weird:
At most tracks they clean your bottom chassis right before the qualifier and then check to see if it was rubbing after the heat...no rubbing, no problem. I've run 2mm all winter season long and my car had zero rub. |

Huh, I never saw that in his posts... My bad
He may want to talk to them about that. 5mm on carpet is a bad idea

That said, even IF an M-chassis car were to "touch down" there's nothing sharp to snag carpet. "normal" TC's get screws loosening and THOSE tear carpet. Scottrik |
Yeah, if everyone is running 5mm then it's fair for sure...you can call it the turtle class.
The v shape of the bottom of the chassis also helps a lot. |
I'll talk to them about the 5mm rule. Thanx to all for the advice. If you ain't crashin, you ain't trying hard enough

I just saw on RC Champ's website some listings for what looks to be a NEW M-03M Suzuki Swift SP1600. See here:
http://sv09.wadax.ne.jp/~rc-champ-jp...f2a5a0a033b0e5 Does anyone know what this is and what changes were made from 58368? |

It looks like the lightweight version.
Tamiya has/had a lightweight limited edition swift body. The babelfish translation said something about a light chassis. |
It comes with lightweight, pre painted swift body. Nothing special, just a normal M03M chassis. Doesn't say anything about lightweight chassis.
It says release in mid July. |
Hi guys,
I keep having this problem of the entire steering & servo section jerk to either direction (like the torque steer effect...) when throttling my M-03R. I have checked. There are no blinding components in the entire suspension, steering assembly, the suspension joints are moving freely. Any advice on how I can cure this problem? (Can't have the car jerking to one side everytime u throttle out of a corner...) Appreciated |

It says release in mid July. M-03M chassis adoption of wheel base 225mm > The chassis the actual car loading the motor onto the front in the same way, adopted the M-03M chassis which drives the nosewheel. As for the frame which becomes the framework of the chassis being light weight slim, there is a strength, the resin make monocoque type which also assembly cheapness pursues. Approximately it equipped lightweight upright, double wishbone 4 wheel independent suspension and the wheel base which is set to 225mm going hand in hand, sharp cornering high travelling stability is produced. Furthermore, total 8 equipping 1050 ball bearings which are in the bearing of the wheel axle front and back, you held down drive loss. In addition, the 60D radial tire where tread pattern is cut was installed on actual car similar 11 these spoke wheels. |
