Thanks guys! You gave me what I was looking for and then some...

Does anyone have a good carpet setup for the 416X with the Tamiya Lipo upgrade chassis?

I used Jilles Snowbirds setup with the LiPo chassis at IIC and it was awesome all week.

I have a few questions:

How much better is the Lipo chassis that Tamiya makes for this?

Some have mentioned flipping the pulleys, is that possible with the stock chassis? Is the purpose of flipping the pulleys to accommodate the wider lipo battery and improve balance? Is it necessary for someone like me who is getting back into on-road after a 20 year hiatus?

My plan is to run RCGT at West Coast. 911 body, Ballistic 21.5 with a Novak Havoc Pro speed control...will the Havoc fit alright?

Do I have to run a shorty steering servo? Any recommendations?

both fit well into 416x.

3racing gdiff have slop and can be fix with adding 2pcs axle type shim 0.2mm x 2pcs while spec-r gdiff is leaking but can b fix by replacing with latest o-ring..

so the choices is yours...

SPec-r Gdiff

3racing Gdiff
