For the milky blue spring set:

White: 17.1lb
Blue: 14.9lb
Yellow: 13.1lb
Red: 11.5lb

For our local high traction track I do not find the white (front) and blue (rear) spring combo stiff enough. I have been running Serpent orange up front (19lb) and Tamiya white in the rear (17lb). It really brought the car to life. When I am at a lower traction track I like the white/blue combo.

Arrow help

Hello everyone.
I just got the 416x and I ask you a few tips

How do you balance the car, maybe if I posted some photos so as to understand where to put weights and how many?

also what weight your car balanced and ready to race?

aspect of your instructions

it depends on the RnR of the race, how many kg allowed. then u add some weight.. to balance usually i use the hudy all in one. the tweak comes handy for weight balancing.

They are different (i believe), so if you want to use the WE bulkheads you would also need to swap top decks.

I dunno why you would want to use the WE bulkheads if you have the 416x, the further back diff gives straighter rear uni's

Anyone know if the black colored gray hara springs (#66962) are the same as the gray HPI\HB springs that the Tamiya drivers use outdoors? If not, anyone have the part number for the HPI\HB springs the Tamiya drivers use?

Apex,
The 66962 Hara Springs (Grayish silver band) is very different than the silver HPI springs (part number 6543) that is commonly used

The HPI springs are stiffer measuring at 16.21 lb/in vs 14.37 lb/in of the gray Hara.

Both springs measure incredibly linear no matter what people will tell you here.

The Hara spring fit the tamiya spring retainer better since the inner diameter is smaller - more like a tamiya spring. In addition, of all the springs that I have tested, the Hara springs have the least amount of variation.

I forgot to mention that the HPi silver spring measured is all silver in color. HPi came out with a "new" silver spring that is black with a silver band. I heard it was slightly different but I don't have the new spring to measure

Where is everyone getting the Hara springs from? I have been looking and I "think" the only springs I am finding are regular HPI springs, none say they are Hara springs.
