Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Pros are gonna tinker with cars no matter what it is
I totally agree. I bought a b5m 2 weeks before they announced the b6 and after giving it a good look at, it seems like the b6 is just full race ready worlds available to the public at a good cost. However... the b5m has just as much potential now that theres so much aftermarket support. All you need is a good setup and hand eye cordination

In super high bite situations, the B6 is better than the B5M, as proven by the B6 already.

Two different lengths of shock ends. Extra droop or less droop.

Haha.... No I'm not
Most seem to be doing that and pre-ordering.
When the B5 came out, I bought it a month after it was released. Then waited months for the upgrade parts.
I'll wait this time. B5m FL is running good on outdoor dirt. If a new 4WD comes out (or announced soon) I'll get that instead. Cos I can't drive 4wd. Lol

Boy, a friend offered me a smokin deal for his B5M, but honestly I want the latest and greatest. I have the T5M and honestly LOVE the Truck to death and I cannot wait to see how Awesome the B6D is gonna be. Obviously two different animals but it should be great! Currently running a Schumacher SV2 in Mod buggy and im frustrated with the car! It is good but to me seems to be lacking in punchiness sometimes in the jumps!

Honestly can't wait for this to come out! Can't come fast enough!

Since I have take a few months off I sold my 3 B5Ms and 2 XB2s because it made sense. A bunch of guys got some swinging deals. When I come back I'll buy a couple B6s and hopefully they'll release their new wheeler too.

Yes I will keep rockin my b5m FL until they work out the kinks with the b6D kind of like I did by waiting for the factory lite b5 that had the kinks worked out and was the best overall value IMO.

I would be rather get the new 4wd depending on what they make of it of course to hold me over until they modify the later kits as they learn from the people who pre order and have to have the newest thing right away. Nothing wrong with that I'd just rather wait and learn since I have my FL so dialed right now

Default SELL THEM

I like QDRHRSE way of thinking because i was lucky enough to purchase one of his old buggies. It was a little before the announcement of the b6 but switching from my short course truck to his set up ready to run buggy well its allmost as much fun as my weeding night. I said ALLMOST so sell them to new and young racers and get them started and grow your sport.

Long shot question...

Iwant to pull all my ti screws from my b5m for a future b6. It looks like a lot of them will work but the b6 uses a lot more button heads. Does anyone have a screws part list? Looks like Schelle knows as they are already selling them, but exact screw types and lengths aren't listed. I don't need an entire screw kit.
