Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Thanks for the post and sorry to hear about your car. Mind if I ask which film you are using? Associated, JConcepts, Protek?

Our track has one cut which is a standard logo. I'm running a yz2 film since the B6 ones are waiting to be delivered.

Thanks!

For those of you running the aluminum D block, are you just using the centered pill to mimic the stock plastic part? I'm trying to wrap my brain around what pill position would do what if you used something else.

Does anybody know if B6 front arms fit on a B5m lite? I tried searching but I think it's to common to find a answer.

I don't see why not.

I haven't tried it though; and if I could retro fit anything to the B5M lite, I'd take the body off the B5M, roll a B6 under it, and then put the body on.

In all seriousness, I'd not bother; just drill the third hole and call it good.

I run mine with a .5 pill in the centered out position. The pills change you toe and anti squat of the rear.

Up / Down adjusts anti-squat. in .5 or 1 degree increments.
Left / Right adjusts toe-in; again in .5 or 1 degree increments.
Corners - combination of the above.

The laydown "a pretty expensive add-on?"

It's $27.... Rather inexpensive

I do definitely get what you're saying with the D on the D though

I think he's asking about the spacing of the wing mount holes. Like, for instance, would a one piece wing button fit both cars?
