Vito, you don't race yet you have a Losi 22, Losi 8tand SC10 4x4? Why are you trying to get a B4.1? I agree with everyone else. Wait for the B4.2 unless you are getting a discounted price by $100.

I was looking at converting my SC10 FT to a B4.2. Why I don't know maybe I had to time to waist looking at it but the cost was $360 to convert since I needed shocks, arms, chassis, towers, body, wheels etc. The kit price is actuall really cheap for this level of equipment.

Go for it Vito. I love my SC10 which is similar to the B4. I am also planning to get a B4.2 this summer.

I am glad you are supporting your friend, nothing wrong with that. Me personally I guess I would ask him if you could put the money towards the b4.2, and when it gets in if you could go home with it like you could with the b4.1 . Heck, assuming you are dumping $30 each week on it, say it gets to him in 2 weeks you have $210 of it paid for, probably the same amount outstanding either way.

I agree Cain. You are using Logic which is not always applicable. It sounds like he is happy with his plan. We all plan to do the logical thing and go B4.2 when available. For me I have to wait until July when I return to the USA. I have almost all the electrics ready to go when I get there.

If you arnt racing, don't even bother buying a b4.2
It's a waste, an definitely not a good basher.
