how much lower are the c hub from the a hubs? I love my exoteck hubs. I have been running them for about 2 months now and still no slop.

So are there new shock towers on the B4.2 kit? The kit description said so but I can't find part numbers anywhere and the "Latest upgraded parts" page on their website doesn't include shock towers.

That seems a bit low does it feel fast? I just figured out gearing on my B4.2 with Tekin Gen1 17.5. I had to go a lot higher then expected. I run 45 boost on my Tekin RS which is pretty high it goes to 55 Boost Max. With 16degrees endbell timing which is default I am geared 75/32. I tried 73/33 and it was too much. 75/32 feels right on the money.

Each motor is very different with endbell timing and kv so same gear on your motor could be wrong.

What kind of motor do you have? Maybe a higher kv motor like a trinity with a bunch on the endbel 24/81 might be ok.

I got the lrp x12 17.5 in my car
it doenst get hot, around 50-60°C

car goes a bit faster then 30km/h..32-33 maybe

Yes they are in the kit, from what has been said in the thread is they are same part number, running change.

Most likely the upgraded towers will be treated as a running change , same part numbers as the old towers.....

Hey guys, I figure all the b4 guys are posting in here now. On the v2 shocks, should I stick to the stock o-rings for rebuilds or is there something from another brand that people prefer? Im not leaking, Im just doing a normal rebuild.

Well if it aint broke then dont fix it lol. I used to run the kyosho x-rings with a different spacer in between the x-rings that was thinner. Worked great, never had any leaks.

I like the new motor design, less bulky looking.

rider313 02-08-2013 07:38 AM

I must say that it has a sexy style to it.

The current Sonic's run great but looked like they're made out of a lump of clay.

Was this new motor approved with the old style or new style ROAR measuring device? LOL
