One thing I will add. I have found you either like the C hub or you don't. It's a acquired taste. I am all for it.

Razathorn 03-04-2013 04:44 PM

I'll go one further and say that if you try ANY hubs and it makes your car worse, but you keep using them anyway because somebody on the internet told you which hubs to run, then you fail.

When it comes right down to it. Get a good base setup then just try things 1 at a time to see the effect. The biggest and most expensive thing can be tires

I've been busy for a while, is this the continuation of the b4.1 WC thread? It seems dead....

no no no, we are still discussing c=hubs after 9+ moths, lol. Not much left to talk about, the buggy is fully upgraded. no what parts to convert to hex. No how do I install the alum rack. No big bore spring conversions. So now we just race the buggy and bask it the glory of the 10 year old buggy, lol.

That's the one I use with my 4PL ;)

Nice...less is more in my book

Wildcat1971 03-04-2013 05:52 PM

lol, not again. But I will guess in the next 1-2 years. Side note, I really likes the Yokomo made the axe front solid axles for their bmax2 to allow older bearing b4 wheels. From what I understand yokomo and ae have been partners on several developments over the years. Maybe, yokomo with assist on the b5? please dont let the guy who makde the sc104x4 design it, lol. or thunder tiger.

That is a good question sir. The new carbon A tower allows for better spring clearance and when a stud breaks, you wont have to replace the A hub. But the carbon A hub appears to have more flex. So it fits in with the rest of the sloppy bendy b4.2. It will eventually be called the B4.x Gumby Edition.

I have a B5 on order and it should be here in a few weeks. Ordered it from the same guy that let me pre-order an iPhone 6 and set up a deal where he's going to deposit 7,00,000,000 into my bank account after I send him $30k to get a foreign company set up. Think the dude lives in Nigeria.
