Hi, on indoor track, I used Double Dees, when the blue groove came in, I switched to Rebars. The Rebars handled very well.

Finally getting this thing together. Got the wheels on finally. Noticed my front wheels rub the steering link. The manual told me to put 3 washers on top of the steering link arm. Can I remove those? Or at least 1 or 2 so my wheels dont rub?
Also, I noticed all 4 of my wheels has a slight amount of play in and out. I have my wheel nuts locked on nice and snug, yet there is a little play in and out.. Is this normal? The axles typically have some play in and out between the wheel bearings and the hex pin. I used one TRA3982 6mm Traxxas teflon washer on each axle to take out said play on my truck. |

I race on a med/large outdoor track.the wind is fairly high today.I have the air guards, but have not installed them yet. Yes,I know thats what they are designed for,But do they really help? :) Thanks,Tommy |
Well I've jumped on the Tekno train as well
I back ordered one on tower for the discount and then asked my lhs to help me out. Forgetting that they also order from tower and ended up with two trucks  I'm just about 3/4th through the build and as said before... Wow! Such a clean build and can't wait to get this puppy on the track. |

Yes, you can remove the extra washers. They're there so that should you decide to change your bumpsteer settings, you don't have to go hunting for washers and longer screws. My wheels were grinding down the screw heads when they flexed, so I removed my extra washers and changed the screws to button heads, no more contact problems.

I removed 1 washer on each side and its clearing now, but not by much. Maybe ill take one more out to be safe. And for the wheel in and out slop I found out my Prolite 4x4's aliminnum hex's were an exact fit right up against the bearing for a smooth snug fit. |
I see the complete diffs for sale, thought it would be nice to have a spare for testing gear oils faster.
What is different between the F/R and Center diffs? What is stopping me from sticking the Center diff kit in the front or vise versa? Different outdrives? |
