i made one as well when i first got my rig. needs some modding now that i got the airguards but i put 2 big holes and mesh to block the dirt...i used window mesh with shoe goo to hold it on. works pretty well. if anyone is interested to see the pic with the mesh, let me know....just a pain to take pic, load, copy etc.... but i will if you ask lol :D

please enlighten me with the pro's of the serpent comb bladders. and what were you trying to achieve and did you achieve?

Finished the build tonight. Have an rx8 with a pro4600. I have 60c 5800 packs. Should they make it 10mins on most tracks?

I'm used to 1/8 nitro where we used to run a piece of foam above the bladder for more pack... the comb bladders have a smaller version of what you accomplish running that piece of foam. I had a hard time getting the stock bladders to seat properly.. yes there were air tight but they didn't sit flush and that bothered me. The serpent bladders sit perfectly and I just have to pull the shock down 1mm and its set. I like how fluid my shocks are now with the CSI pistons.. do I think it made a world of difference? No. More than anything I just feel more confident pushing the truck/more stable with the pistons.

I would say no they wont make it unless its a small tight track.

Anyone tried the Panther Switch tires? Want to try something besides Wishbones and Barcodes

Hi, on indoor track, I used Double Dees, when the blue groove came in, I switched to Rebars. The Rebars handled very well.

CRAP FORGOT TO REMOVE OLD STICKERS!!!!!!!

Your servo horn should be a little more on the right when it's in the neutral position. Looks like you have a lot of kick out on the left tire.

Also in stock at Tower Hobbies, but it'll cost you $213.99 there...

Silly anti-spam rules won't let me post URL's without a certain number of posts, so you'll have to go look it up yourself. :P

Thanks for the info!

I love my Tekin combo--RX8 w/4600KV Motor, I am running a 14t pinion. Never any problems.

Finally getting this thing together. Got the wheels on finally. Noticed my front wheels rub the steering link. The manual told me to put 3 washers on top of the steering link arm. Can I remove those? Or at least 1 or 2 so my wheels dont rub?

Also, I noticed all 4 of my wheels has a slight amount of play in and out. I have my wheel nuts locked on nice and snug, yet there is a little play in and out.. Is this normal?
