Xray XB4 thread

Actually, looking at the "Wheelbase Adjustment" section on the new 2014 spec, it looks like they have mixed up the high traction/low traction description in the table and animation: http://www.teamxray.com/xb4/
They conflict as to which (arms forward or rear) is for low/high traction.

many thanks Neal, I'm following your posts on oople too
I might buy a second XB4, the 1st is driven by my girlfriend mostly and I need one too. But on tight tracks I still prefer my 2wd Cougar SV2

2wd or a much shorter 4wd car (B44.1) is going to be better on small tight tracks, however the wishbone upgrades and wheelbase adjustment may really help in this area. One of my local tracks is very tight indoors, and the 4wd car pushes too much sometimes to get round the right corners.

Decent upgrades, I will be keeping mine 2013 spec. Generally the major awesome upgrades skip a generation. Guessing the 2015 will have shorty layout. Glad xray kept the saddles, don't see a need to upgrade.
I would have loved a few more caster adjustments. 6 and 9 degrees are fine for most 1/10 conditions but for fast bumpy sweepers, I would like more options. For people wanting to make it more responsive, have you guys tried 6 degree fronts? The bigger brothers (xb9 and xb9e) respond excellent with less inclined caster blocks makes it a whole new car (absolutely hate the 16 degree blocks makes it push so bad and so lazy for me).

6 degrees turned in a bit better but the difference wasn't huge. I like 7k oil in front instead of 10k and that made a much bigger difference than the caster blocks.

Standard servo works fine, but a low profile will give a little more space.
I use a standard in mine with the hobbywing 120a v2 esc and it fits
