On the Xray website they suggest the +2 holders would be good for low traction but I would think it'd be the opposite. From what I can tell they just raise up the rear roll center. A higher roll center just decreases traction. You're also moving the arm closer to the diff outdrive so you're decreasing the natural tendency of the car to squat under acceleration. If anyone has had a 22 and raised the tranny for more rear bite, you'll know what I'm talking about.
For spares, maybe some wing mounts, ball cups, and some arms. Doubtful you'll go through many arms though. The others will break with a really hard hit.

I have a JR9000s 128oz .06 or a XP DS1015 200oz .11 to drop in this rig any insight from guys that have been running this platform?
I'm thinking the 128oz is plenty...

I ran tonight with the new 2014 spec F+R wishbones in the arms rearwards "low traction" position at the York offroad indoor polished wood and carpet track. The car felt very good. Traction was very good on the wood floor. I'm also running the new +2 rear hangers, although the jury I'd still out on them. I'd say to upgraders, get the wishbones for sure.
what's the feedback on the new slipper parts? can you just do the pads, or is the new spring and plates needed with them?

that is 1 thing with this car the room for the radio gear and transponder is tight.
threw the 10.5 novak in mine to try it I can see thats not enough motor maybe for a super small track ......

I have been looking at these buggies for a few years and got a pretty sweet deal on this one.
have to be honest I am waiting for the HB buggy I used to race truggy when they were popular and loved the LSP for those that remember what that is.
We'll see how this all pans out with that and the Losi that is comming out.
Either way this buggy is top notch in quality

I put them on the car anyway. Only because you quoted using AE oils (that is what I use). I was surprised how well it handled. I had to remove the 1dot rear after the first run, as it traction rolled going through the fast sweeper at the end of the straight. It felt good around the rest of track. In the last race of the night I dropped the rear oil to 30wt.

I was looking at tires also
I have tons that came with the buggy but we end up sanding them bald and using traction compound.
the cars stick like glue in most cases and I have heard some guys are backing off on motors from 6.5 to 7.5 or 8.5 to calm the buggy down.
ANybody else running slicks??

But if running at a carpet or turf... 100% with the 7.5 and punch at 5-6

Anyone try to bolt a tekin Gen2 6.5 to this motor mount? The tekin I have doesn't line up w/the screw holes in the motor mount... The gen2 srcew holes are a smidge wider than the xb4 mount holes. I ended up bolting an LRP X12 7.5 in no problem. Tons of room in this rig compared to other wheelers I've had, wiring came out slick. I need to pop off the top deck to route a new sensor wire and I'll take a pic.
