I purchased a used XB4 2015 and I noticed the rear bulkhead is cracked between 2 shock tower screws. Does anyone know if the bulkheads from a 2016 will work.

Wzup, Everybody

I want to run the center gear diff for my XB4 16 but the metal gears and pins to sub out the composite ones for the it I cannot find in stock anywhere. Is it even worth the hassle or should I just stick to the slipper?

I'm building my kit right now and I was wondering the same thing. Will these composite gears in all the diffs hold up? Was kinda disappointed to see it came with these.

The composite gears being satellite and bevel in the 16 kits are the graphite blend comp gears. Center gear diff uses the standard composite however no need to worry as the can handle power. Thus they are 70 percent lighter and smooth as silk. Love them so much a run the comp blend V2 crown and drive gears over the steel. Super smooth and quiet thus even more so when combined with the hardened aluminum diff pins.

You can purchase them from the XRAY shop Austria. Look under NT1 parts as they are a direct fit. The 16 gears are graphite comp. blend thus they are excellent, lighter, spool quicker and ninja smooth and ninja silent. If you are running Highbite carpet you may want the steel satellite and bevels, however for dirt and clay thus low to upper med bite they are excellent. I use the V2 35t crown and 14t drive gears over the kits steel gears as they are so smooth.

They are excellent thus the comp. gears combined with the aluminum diff pins is great. Center diff kit comes with composite gears the 16 front and rear gears are graphite imp blend. These were upgrade parts previous to the 16 kits. If you are OCD like me order a set of graphite comp gears for your center gear diff as well as the before mentioned hardened aluminum diff pins front, center and rear. Even smoother do the make your diffs action.

Can anyone say something about parts availability? I am used to AE and I can easily order stuff for a B4 and 2-3 internet shops. Will this be the same for the XRAY if I buy one?

amain carries everything for the xray and so does Rc America which is where i like to order from. its real simple with them, you just call them up and tell them what you need and they get it out to you. The good thing about the xb4 is that I would say its one of the most durable wheelers out by a long shot, much better then that AE crap

Please have a look at my location I think the shipping costs will kill me But anyway, thanks. Its just important that these parts dont vanish when the '17 version is released. I want to have parts supply at least for 2-3 years.
