Would there be a benefit to use a center differential on medium grip carpet track (quite small track) ?
Or is it even worse..

Good Luck! I ordered my 2015 XB4 from Germany via DHL on 11/17 thinking I would have it before everyone else in the states. And thinking that like other manufacturers, it would take months after the kit was announced to hit the U.S. shelves. A Main and Stormer had them in stock around 12/7 . . . my kit arrived last Monday 12/15 . It cost me an extra $50 and I waited a week + longer . . . I'm not jumping the gun this time!

Does that kit come with the out-drives? I can't see them in the picture of the packaging and when you look at this Facebook page, it seems like we might have to buy the out-drives separately.

Just put a deposit on a '15 kit at LHS, hopefully they'll have it in a week or so. I have run almost every other class but this, and I know it will be right up my alley.
-I have some homework to do, so any tips on spare parts to get, or upgrades to build with right off the bat would be appreciated.
-Planning on a Tekin RSX/6.5T combo, may build for shorty if SMC gets the 4600mah packs back in, as I already run those ones in my 22. I would like the balance of the car to feel similar to my Tekno Eb48 if that means anything to anybody.
-Also looking for servo suggestions, is a low profile recommended? I don't have much experience with low pro, so interested to hear on that also.
-Pinion range for a 6.5T?
-Will a standard aluminum servo horn work?
-Does the kit only include one set of wheels?
Sorry if I'm jumping the gun with all the questions, now I'll be going back and reading through the thread to soak it all in.....thanks.

Go for a standard size servo. It will hold up far better.
I run this servo horn.

The kit does include one set of wheels (without tires)
Pinion range for a 6.5 should be in around 18,19,20 for indoor tracks.
I run 19 on a 6.5.

Centre diff built and fitted. Filled with Hudy 500k oil as recommended for low grip. Can't wait to test this bad boy.
