Serpent 811E Buggy Thread
#4457
So a while back with the release of the V2 radio tray, I had posted some info and pictures about rhe RX8 and IX8 fitment. At the time, my Hobbywing was in my conversion buggy, but I was confident it would not fit without modification in the BE. Things change, and modification happened, and the Hobbywing 150A will fit the new tray without anything too major, about 5 min with a dremel actually. Pics attached.

Standard body. The Avenger is newer. IMO at RaceEm either body is fine. I just bought both because they look awesome

If you know what servo your going to use grab the Serpent aluminum servo horn for it. The stock is plastic.

i'm wondering whether the serpent shocks for the 1.0 rtr (shocks have the gold body with black springs) would fit my rc8.2...

Try http://www.clockworkracingengines.com/ or I suppose Desoto/Serpent America would ship to Canada but the shipping/customs may add a too much to the price.

I'd recommend one or your hands will get tired.
Home Depot, Ace and others have inexpensive versions. Then you can get the 2mm and maybe 2.5mm hex drives.
