Its a tight fit, but got er done. The sensor cable comes out on the side where the motor wires are. Had to drill a hole in the mount. Ended up using the stock sensor wire. Was going to get a shorter wire but it works fine as is.
The wires are stock on the speedo, I didn't have to re solder anything the way it is mounted. The switch and receiver wires are just taped over so they wouldn't get chaffed by the body. I did hack up the receiver box cause the wires wouldn't fit, and it really doesn't need to be enclosed fully. Since the lid isn't there the antenna tube exits through a hole in the back of the body. I used the original 811 gas car antenna mount.

Ok I've never ran this dual pack setup and was wondering this: if a battery doesn't have the tube style connector, would it be possible to solder a bullet connector on a positive and negative lead of each battery and hook them together like that?

How long have you been running the red?
I went through a red and green in the truggy, and a green in the buggy all in 2 weeks
My green in the buggy lasted about 2 months.
On the plus side RadioPost was quick to replace with new ones, but I sold them.
I shelled out the big $$ for the KO PROPO's now and I can feel they are much smoother. If I can get at least a year out of them it will be worth every dollar.
Pulled a 4th tonight on a 13 car field of experienced drivers. Sometimes I just love how hassle free the Serpent electric is.
But other times I just love the smell and sound of nitro.
I was going to put my BE on the shelf for a while and buy a 811 TE nitro buggy but I don't know, keeping up with nitro truggy and buggy would be some serious work.

I've never ran one on throttle in the gas buggy though.

Yep, shouldn't be a problem. The bullet connectors in the packs are a little cleaner looking but its all the same really as long as you cut the wire to the right length. Depending on where the wires come out of the pack you might need to cut the battery tray a little though but that shouldn't cause any problems. The battery trays are pretty solid.

I went bashing with my e buggy at the park today. Amazing how fast this thing is when you can just open it up and let it run.

3 hours isn't long. I used to run the plastic servo horn and stripped 3 of them. That probably saved the servo as long as it did. Wasn't long after switching to alum that servo went out. Hopefully you will have better results then myself and the other racer here using RP.
