i could see upgrading the screws if you were building a show truck or something of that nature but since most of us race or bash these trucks why upgrade the screws, they seem to be of good quality and there are so many other upgrades that would improve the truck...just my opinion....

^^ Bling factor more than actual performance upgrade. I've got 4 for the nerf bars, but agree that in general application the original screws are great!

BTW, any eta on the FT kit?

When installing the blue ball things into the sway bars (Step 1 of the sway install) did anyone else have issue with getting them to go in without crusching the soft alluminum? I tried using a set of flat pliers that are adjustable so that I was pushing on it as straight as I could, and they still deformed enough that I cannot use them...

one side of the ends is smaller than the other... put the balls in on the large side.

to put the blue balls in my sway bar links i put the balls flatside down on the work bench and used a nut driver to smack the plastic end over the ball . I hope that makes sense .

That, plus I used one of these:

I had one I use for my oval car, but if I didn't, I'd improvise my own press and make something out a 3mm screw, a couple of washers, and a nut.

just finished putting my sway bar kits on,a little lube and a 7mm nut driver and the balls pop right in with minimal effort. how much of the bar do you have sticking out of the holders? i made mine even with the end of the piece. used the blue bars to start.

I remember the rc8 shock ends and the 4-40 threaded rod, but that pesky carbon rod.. i can't seem to recall......

Hobbywing's 120A v2 esc or Mamba Max Pro esc

Motor's, tenshock 4000kv or castle's 3800kv

Should run you about 150-180 depending on if you buy new or used......
