one other thing and this is related to the sway bars, if you can only get the fronts, is it worth to get now and look for some rears when they become available or do you need both for it to pay off?

were the rears available at all or haven't been released yet?
went ahead and purchased the last set at losi parts house for the fronts. Also, how much difference is there between the rear and fronts as far as the bar shape? I am assuming the hardware would be the same? wondering if I could rig up using the front bar in the rear if its similar. |

I just remove the clicker assemblyand installed a 20 tooth pulley with a one way bearing in it. Now the front end truly acts like a two wheel drive off power and I can apply brakes only to the rear. No funny clicking and trying to set the spring tension.

how do you like it?

My Murfdogg 5.5 motor only has a 12.5 rotor in it. Works very well. |

I power the fan directly off the batter post on the ESC. I did not want the BEC to have to power anything more than the servo. This also lets me leave the battery plugged in but the car off when I turn marshall. When I get back the motor is cold and ready to run again. :)

I figure this might help some of the people that have not been lucky enough to get their hands on the AE Swaybars and are looking to make something else work. The hardware is the same front and rear except that the rear ball end is longer, that is so under full compression the dogbone does not hit.
This is one to show the difference between the front and rear. The top one is the front and the bottom is the rear. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j9...Swaybars-1.jpg Here is the front bar ball end. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j9...rontBarend.jpg This is the rear bar ball end. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j9...RearBarend.jpg BulldogSRT |
ordered the trackstar o rings.
So are you guys driving slower and smoother and getting around the track that way and that is netting you better lap times? That's what I'd do with my 2wd |
I was lucky enough to get the rear sway bars from tower. Gonna try cavs set up tomorrow at west coast.
